McColl’s

This project spanned a period of sixteen weeks, with the aim of converting an old pub into a new retail outlet, with residential properties above. The property was in bad state of repair, requiring an initial programme of maintenance work, including roofing works, rendering to higher levels and pointing to brickwork. The next part of the project was to remodel the interior of the shop by removing several structural walls and various toilet blocks to give a square shop with only 3 small steel pillars, the store was then fit out to a very high specification. The final part of the project was to improve the exterior of the property, with new windows and doors being fitted and the car park being resurfaced.
